As a church, we use two main approaches to share the Gospel beyond our community. First, we financially support “traditional” missionaries. These are individuals and families who work long-term in another country or sometimes with a specific group of people in the United States. We support missionary pastors, national pastors in other countries, camp staff, and mission board representatives this way.
Second, members of Grace Baptist are directly involved in spreading the Gospel outside of Tuolumne County. The church sponsors at least two short-term mission trips every three years. We send two groups of mission teams to Forest Glen Bible Camp in Nova Scotia, Canada. Church members also choose to do short-term work individually, by participating in work days at Christian camps or assisting church planters in Northern California.
